Hello Everyone,
Forgive us for being so quiet over the last couple of months, we've been very busy behind the scenes and it hasn't always been easy to get together with our editor Carl Austin so we can finish the edit. The good news is that we're just about there with it now and should be locking picture very soon, and I am very happy with how the film is shaping up.
Once the edit is locked, we will have 3 more tasks to complete before the film is finished. The first of those tasks is to compose the film's original score. To that end I am delighted to welcome aboard composer SAM THOMPSON to the Squall team.
Based at Air Studios in London, Sam is a composer, arranger/orchestrator and conductor. He has composed music for Channel 4, Sky and Playstation as well as numerous short films. I met with Sam a couple of months ago to discuss the film and he's massively supportive of the project ever since. He has already begun work on the score and I couldn't be happier with what he has created - I can't wait to see/hear the rest to come!
To find out more about Sam and his work you can visit his website.
I apologise again for the delay in delivering more news about the film, but please rest assured, we're working to complete it as soon as we can.
Thank you for your patience!
All the best,
Mark
