Our Last First
Meet A & B. Watch as they go through the first and lasts of their (and everyone universally) relationship. With Friend and Sibling editing and affecting their journey.
Except that isn’t where this play ends. Written without any pronouns, genders, names, ages, or physical description this play is designed to be played by any and every actor. Because love is universal, we all experience it. And yet sadly too often the romantic leads look the same in every production. Here the four actors are as diverse from each other as possible. But there’s another catch. The four actors all walk onto stage at the start of each show, and the roles are live cast. Meaning that every time a show begins it is a unique combination. Some nights you will see the couple deal with societies views of same sex marriage, another on the rights of trans love, pressure from families with different cultures, and everything else that makes us different and unique.
The big details:
Our Last First, is having a 2 week run at The Space, in Canary Whalf, this is the first time it is being produced by new theatre company “Bullet Point Theatre”. Bullet Point was created in 2022 with one aim; for each show topic to be about a voice or conversation that is not allowed time or space.
Our Last First, first premiered at The Union, Southwark in 2021, to a sold out run and 5 star reviews. Following rewrites by writer Lucinda Coyle, the show is now bigger, better and more challenging!
It is a beautiful, thought provoking show, that will leave you at the edge of your seat and make you want to come back to see how the next combination of actors create that nights version!
To pay all creatives / cast equally and fairly we need to raise of total of £25,000! Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.

This is what theatre needs.

You will want to see this play again

I hope that Our Last First will return for a longer run in the future; it’s an original and refreshing idea and one that it would be great to explore further.
- Theatre Things
To see a West End with more plays like Our Last First is to see a better, more diverse, and more memorable West End.
- The Hysteria Collective
Bullet Point Theatre was co-founded by Lucinda Coyle (she/her) and Samuel Xavier (he/him) pictured above. It was created with one aim, for each show topic to be about a voice or conversation that is not allowed time or space.
We believe that theatre needs to prove points, encourage change, and show realities on stage that our audiences would often shy away from. The writing is honest. The staging is truthful and all our dramas highlight either injustice or evoke the need for change.
